Everything comes from the earth…

Uglyduckly ceramics are handmade and each piece has its own character. Designs and materials are changing sometimes, ´cause I´m always influenced by things around me: nature, feelings and rediscoveries.

Clay is the base and the connection to earth in my everyday life.

My studio is in Hamburg-Billbrook, an industrial area, yet very green with its nearby countryside and Elbe-river. There I also have a little garden-paradise for a few years now.
